The Transformation Intensive is a rigorous eight-month course of spiritual formation inspired by the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola designed to help people encounter Christ in the Gospel narratives and be transformed by Him.

It is a school of prayer, healing, and spiritual renewal.

Deacon Valerie McIntyre created the Transformation Intensive after having the life-changing experience of walking through the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola.

The Transformation Intensive is now in its sixth year of being run by a variety of churches and individuals. Over 400 individuals have taken part in TI since its inception in 2015.

Deacon Valerie is a spiritual director and the Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Church of the Resurrection in Wheaton, Illinois. She has been in full-time ministry for over thirty years, and has an extensive background in healing prayer and pastoral care.
